The Real Madrid defender was blunt when asked whether he were in
talks to join Manchester United or extend his current contract
Sergio Ramos has issued a curt response to questions over his
future, telling reporters "I'm not negotiating with anyone".
Reports in Spain have suggested Ramos' relationship with Madrid
president Florentino Perez has reached breaking point amid persistent
talk of a potential move to Manchester United.
United retain an interest in the 29-year-old defender as discussions
continue over the future of David de Gea, who is wanted by Madrid
this summer, but there is belief in some quarters that Ramos is
angling for a greater pay packet from his current employers.
However, when pressed by reporters at a wedding in Seville, Ramos
was keen to stress he is not currently holding talks with either club.
"I'm not negotiating with anyone," he told Cuatro , having
previously offered a simple "all is well".
The World Cup-winner then declined to respond when pressed on
whether he will stay at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Ramos has spent 10 years with Real Madrid since joining from Liga
rivals Sevilla, claiming 10 major trophies in that time.
