The former Spain youth international has committed his future to Los
Che until 2020 and underlined his faith in owner Peter Lim's plans
at Mestalla
Daniel Parejo is looking to play a bigger part in Valencia 's
expansion project after signing a new four-year deal with the club.
The 26-year-old has extended his stay at Mestella until 2020 - just
months after inspiring Los Che to a fourth-placed finish in La Liga
with a team-high tally of 12 goals.
"This is one of the happiest days of my life. This was what I
wanted. Everybody knew this and I was always confident that we
would reach an agreement," the Valencia captain told his club's
official website.
"We have a great team and we all identify with the club. The
project is more solid every day since Peter Lim has arrived
and, with Nuno [Espirito Santo] as coach and the squad that we
have, we can be optimistic about the future.
"I have always said that there is no other club at which I could be
happier. I feel very happy and I identify strongly with Valencianismo;
all that remains is to thank the club and the fans for their faith in
me."
The former Real Madrid youth product has made 149 appearances in
all competitions for Valencia after signing from Getafe in 2011,
scoring 18 times in the process.
