David De Gea will not hand in a transfer request to speed up his move to Real Madrid, according to EFE. The Spanish goalkeeper will keep waiting until the end of this summer's transfer window because he thinks the deal will still be made.
Manchester United's manager
Louis Van Gaal said that De Gea refused to play in United's opener
against Tottenham, but the goalkeeper never did such thing. These
comments by Van Gaal have angered De Gea, but he doesn't want to turn
every United fan against him. Still, he is determined to complete his
move to Real Madrid and has rejected every offer to extend his contract
with United.
Real Madrid are offering €25 million for De Gea but United want at least €40 million, according to several reports. Keylor Navas could be the key to unlock the deal as the Costa Rican could be included in Madrid's package for De Gea.
