CanadaDeputy High Commission of Canada in Nigeria, Mr. Lajos Arendas has said that the commission operates seamless visa processing method to Canada, noting that prospective travellers could access it online.

Arendas disclose this in Lagos at a cocktail convened by Canadian International Institution, Ridley College in Eastern Canada, in collaboration with GEC Education Counsellors Lagos. Arendas said:

“Visa application to Canada takes 56 days on average, but some applications are handled within 3 weeks or less.

The reason some people require more time to get it, is because if application form is not properly filled, it is automatically rejected. But our officers do revisit rejected forms every week.

Applicants are contacted with notification of reasons for rejection and however, if ratified, we continue process. Within the process of doing this, application is delayed.” Meanwhile, the Executive Director, Ridley College, Canada, Dr. Andrew T. Weller while commending the Deputy High Commissioner, urged Nigerian parents to grab the opportunity of enrolling their wards into Ridley Schools in Canada.
