Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina pulled out all the stops to make sure his side remained deadlocked with Argentina at half time in their Copa América quarter-final.

The Arsenal player produced a tremendous double save to deny the potent pairing of Sergio Agüero and Lionel Messi in the game at Viña del Mar.

Agüero got in front of his defender to poke a shot towards goal, only for Ospina to deny him from close range with an outstretched leg. However, his save to deny Messi heading home the rebound was even better.

The Barcelona forward appeared to have the goal at his mercy, only for Colombia's custodian to somehow get back to his feet and launch himself to the right to keep the ball out.

However, Ospina's efforts ultimately proved to be in vain as Argentina triumphed 5-4 after a dramatic penalty shoot-out to reach the semi-finals.
